Hi guys, really need help on this, Don't know where to look(almost). Any input greatly appreaciated.

Engine: Cummins M11 ISM; 834k miles; no service records; have it for a two months. Had no problem untill recent Oil change.

Last weekend did PM. Day later engine starte to blow huge amount of blue smoke after ideling . Less than a min driving and smoke clears. Runned fine .
Then noticed , after refuelling that one side tank breather hose not working properly _ fuell overflaws into right side tank in goes out through a fuell cap.
Today was about to pull into a yard and engines stoped ( still more than 1/4 fuell in tanks). Cranked- rotates but doesn't start. Let it sit for few min, cranked andit started, but was jerking alot and barelly made onother 100 yards before dyinagain. this time for good.

    Rotates strong whie cranked.
    Replaced Fuell Filter
    Added fuell
Took Air Filter off, sprayed "Starting Fluid" nto intake- NOT STARTING.

    Please , sugestions and help.

    BTW truck is 2001 Sterling , ISM350 , Rockwell transmission , carhauler.

M-11's are known for blown intake gaskets as they are under the valve cover. Worn valve guides, rings, blown turbo seals, or the intake gaskets would explain the white smoke. Check for fuel psi and your ecm fuses. Do you have a check engine light or stop engine when you turn the key on? Also check for a restricton in your fuel line and power at your fuel shut-off solenoid

    Thanks for reponce.
Unfortunately truck blows cloud of BLUE smoke, not "white". Oil is on the level. From previous oil change had to add 1/2 gallon of oil in a 7k mile.

Yes, truck, has "Stop Engine" light. It goes on when ign. key is turned to "on" possition. Then goes off when cranking.
One more thing, might not be related but, after ideling for 45min engine shuts off on its own, and "stop engine" light stays on . Let is sit for few mins and restart and all is good. but all this was BEFORE yesterday .
