There's a fairly nice grade coming down the hill from Cabela's and heading towards the Ohio River at the bottom.

 

He was probably going to stop you, but got a call with bigger fish to fry.

Bear doesn't play games. When they gotta stop you, they do. There's no stalking, nor are they pretentious.

 

Maybe he was allergic to cats, saw one looking back at him in the passenger side window and thought "to hell with the quotas".

 

Be careful. While bears have been known to bluff charge, you have to be willing to play dead if they go for the kill.

 

Didn't see where he said West Virginia. I may have missed it though. I know exactly what hill you're talking about.
