All kinds of bad attitude was going on with me. Wasting time!
Then I got a call from a certain dispatcher.
Saw what I was doing.
Asked if I wanted something over weekend.
Suddenly I turned from complete masturbating. To pushing it through Monday.
He’s having me drop my trailer in Minnie tonight. Get another. Load in Minnie tomorrow afternoon. Deliver Dallas Monday at 1800.! Yes! Yes! Yes!

Poor security guard at Coca Cola. He’s left to take care of everything. Early Saturday morning. Just him and the forklift drivers inside.

 

Just did a blind side back in a tight area. I did it well. Although did move forward and back a lot, adjusting.
Part of the reason for that was my transmission. At times that thing just has to lunge. Either won’t move, or lunges. It’s like it’s wanting the torque of a 15 liter. Not getting it with this 13. I even have to shift it to neutral at the dock. Won’t stop with brake mashed hard. Everything electronic on this truck is sub standard. Pete should be ashamed.
This transmission lunging, makes me look like a bad driver. I’m fighting it. Truck swaying back and forth. On this back. Even had a driver walk over. Look at the truck next to me. See if any damage.
Anybody who knows these Eaton’s understands.

 

Anecdotal evidence suggested company trying to minimalize mileage bonus at end of month. I went into the one person with lots of control. Also at most used terminal. So easy to see in person.
I went from being cheated out of 13k bonus. To 14k by end of month. Loading now...

Start out on a manual transmission.
Auto trans makes it easy. But out of touch with the truck. My Volvo auto shifted like I do. This Eaton shifts like a dufus.
