If there is such a shortage as they say why do they continue to treat their drivers like #### taking bets on how long they last. See, I don't put up with that b.s.
I'm financially stable and if someone treats me like #### then I walk it's that simple. Too many good companies out there. I believe they look for certain personality types to prey on and I am not one of them. I just wish everyone felt like me because they would be able to handle the ######## in this business. Force me to drive when I'm tired then F*&^ you I quit. Don't respect me as a man then ## I quit. The yellow pages weigh 10 lbs. the last time that I checked. If I take all of the chances on my personal CDL then no one dictates to me what I need to do. I hustle it's that simple. But I don't listen to ####### dispatchers for long.

Good luck ... It appears that most of your issues with your current career are self inflicted. It's rather unlikely you will find the nirvana you seek in trucking.

As far as what's best ... there is no best. Whatever works. You want to change. Then change.

It sounds like your looking for a hobby, sort of a retirement job. Have you considered Uber, minimal investment and work when you want from what I've heard. As far as I know the 70hr weeks are no bull and even the conditions for dispatchers etc. are competitive and challenging which leads to unhappy people and we know what they can be like to work with.

Wrong analysis. I am a success and that's why I need to move on. I am financially stable now and don' need to play the ######## game. I just got a pension from 20 years of hustle and making the smart moves.

There's a shortage because companies don't pay that well or they lie to get you in the door. Newbies are dime a dozen.... I'm far from a failure. I wouldn't go with trucking if i was 60 and thinking it would be a good job.

    Joetro Thanks this.

    Question,
If Uber is a great company then why are you still driving a truck?
Honest question, you threw it out there.

I'm not 60 yet and I haven't got my license yet lol, but seriously if you look at whats been said as negativity when its reality then you may find driving will not be the nirvana you seek. If you look at it as a challenge and feel excited then what the hell go for it, you've been warned.

No negativity brother, just hustle. Someone takes advantage of you then walk because life's too short. Nirvana is for movies.
