I had the EXACT same problem you did, and forgive me being blunt but here is the low down dirty truth:
Welcome to the bottom.
You WILL be on a bottom feeder company for atleast a year. Swift gained my loyalty because they gave me a chance when no one else would. Bad credit, 6t months job experiance, part time, in 5 years, 2 speeding tickets in 5 years. They took a chance on me, this is a two edged sword:
Means they take alot of drivers that they should not take, but also means they take a chance on people like me who just simply had bad luck.
So, Talk to swift, work on it , dont have fear. Stevens, Swift, if you dont have tickets try Werner and Schnider too they take recent graduates.heavyd540 Thanks this. -
One piece of advice is to use punctuation, makes post's MUCH easier to read.
I would worry about the grand larceny conviction, before I would worry about the self employment. But shouldn't you have asked these questions to a few recruiters, BEFORE shelling out 6 grand?heavyd540 Thanks this. -
This was un-nessicary.
Go ahead, rip on my spelling if you want as well, but frankly put atleast I am trying to help people. The reason FOR this forum.
Its people like you that make some of the people that need help afraid to ask.
Go crawl back under your rock.
PS:
Let me pre-empt your next attack: Yes, Only have 1.2 years of driving experiance and there for I must know nothing! -
Hardly. Failure to punctuate increases the difficulty to read and give appropriate responses. -
Also PAM transport or Choctaw (same company different division). What you will need to do is go to a website like everytruckingjob.com or bubbajunk.com, they have sections where they outline their felony policy, experience and what the general requirements are. The biggest issue is whether or not you are insurable, which is what the big companies will use to not hire you. Remain diligent and seek out the small companies first, also maybe try the oil patch jobs in ND, TX for example. Hope this helps and remember to drive safe!!!

The question about the felony i did they said ten years your good the part about the work history no i thought they would ask for refefences i have plenty of those lol i even done some painting for the cop that arrested me she would give a great reference i have turned my life around

If punctuation in such a short thing makes it THAT hard to read, perhaps while they need lessons in typing, others need lessons in basic literature comprehension.
why would i invest in mutual funds
is clearly a question. It starts with "why" despite not having a ? at the end. BUT I digress I refuse to derail this topic further. -
I forgot about those websites. Nice call on those -
For the last ten years my record license are clean 1 ticket in 2004 for a headlight out
