As Far As Crete Goes U Have To Pay For School...but It's Only 950.00...and U Take It At The Community College Located In Lincoln Nebraska...its A 10 Wk Course..u Also Have To Pay For All The Expenses..exp...trasportation To And From There, Food, Where To Live And So On...but The Recruiter Said They Could Help By Giving Me A Part Time Job There Pumping Fuel Or In The Wash Bay...the Only Problem I Have Is The 10 Wk Course...i Got To Many Bills And I Wouldnt Cut It With A Part Time Job Investing All The Money I'd Be Making In Living Expenses There...

Working ten weeks part-time pumping diesel or doing some other flunkie job at the terminal means you'll miss out on making real money for ten weeks.

Also, when you go with a trainer, you'll be making around 350-400 a week for 4-6 weeks.....

When one figures in these opportunity costs to the 950, he sees driver training is expensive no matter how he goes about getting it.

Of those options, I would say Crete is probably your best bet. I've spoken with a few of their drivers, and they all seem to be happy folks. Swift, Werner, and Covenant should be your absolute last resort. I don't know much about Central Refridgerated other than the fact that they are one of the major reefer pullers out there. Never heard of DSW.

One: It sounds like you need a licenese, correct?
Two: Do you have a family?
Three: Remember a recruiter will tell you what you want to hear and I'm not saying he is lying but it might be a while in that company before you get what he says

    Generally speaking of course
