What about Watkins-Shepard? Teaming in only 10 days unless you request more time.
TransAm is 11 days unless you request more time, but not sure they hire in your area.
As for Werner, if that's your best choice right, just do it and get it over with. Decker Truck Line reefer division will probably hire you as soon as your training is over with Werner. Kold Trans hires with 60 or 90 days experience; not sure which. Lots of choices once your training period is over.

If you can get on with superior carriers go that route for sure.. don't worry about how long training is in tanking.. your gonna need all of it plus some.. at snbc I went out with a trainer for 2 weeks, he was a local guy so I stayed in a hotel at nite.. oh I did 3 weeks of training staying in a hotel at nite driving mountains in PA and learning unloads before ever doing the 2 weeks with the local guy.. I'm happy at snbc but the guys I talk to at superior carriers are all happy it seems so definitely go with them if you can.. or whoever is closer to your house is probably the best answer.

Someone said their was a snbc driver at the coraopolis PA tank wash that was quitting after his first load the other day. Said he was trained in Houston, I'm guessing even was local with a trainer their also.. Then he got his first load going all up thru the mountains and around in PA. Not sure where he went to in PA but if you drove their much their you know their is some pretty good hills and back road hwy's
.. Tgis is why I recommend new drivers get trained in coraopolis PA, cause even though I was a newbie when I was sent off by myself I had driven all over those hills in PA. I still was nervous as all heck but I can only imagine how that new driver was that was taught in Texas then pulling 80k lbs surging like crazy thru PA..
he said bump this crap and went to the house lol

I've driven all over PA on those back roads and hills pulling liquid tankers; just take it slow and easy and nothing to it.

Yea.. I'm still new enough I remember it all to well though.. my first month I can still feel my hands gripping that steering wheel way to tightly going down those hills lmao.. just glad I was trained in the mountains

I thought that was bad till recently when I started experiencing some back country roads in Tennessee.. no room for any error or it was straight front page of the news paper

Getting involved in chemical transportation sounds like a great idea, especially for someone with your background. It looks like you have done your homework and will make the right decision! Hope all turns out well for you! – The Speedco Team

At snbc if you go with a otr trainer, it will be for 2 weeks and they will have so much to go over with you it will go by so fast you want even notice.. or u get a local and stay in a hotel like I did.. the otr would be the best training I believe though.
