Strict companies view any 'falsification' as instant disapproval so focus on 'if ever' vrs. 'in the past ten years' and answer accordingly.

Having handled thousands of applications; a 20 - 30 year old suspension for almost any reason doesn't warrant a second glance.
Having worked so long in NJ, a place where there is close to 30 non-driving related reasons for a driver license suspension, it is common to see past suspensions for truly silly reasons.
Frankly, the way an application is completed tells a lot about the individual and few drivers have a 100% clean history.
I can say that I learned the hard way that the really clean application needs to be scrutinized and thoroughly reviewed.
