here is an example. if you drive 6000 miles in a week as team drivers , both drivers will get paid for 3000 miles each. scence noth drivers split the work in half, i think that is rather fair.

Just got back from CRST. I prepaid so I would have the option of leaving if I wanted. What they don't tell you is that you have 4 days of driving training. If you can't double clutch by then, they throw you out. At best, you get 1 hour behind the wheel each day. Everyone seems to get sick at the place. I did and I was really sick. No one said anything about the deadline coming up. The first 2 nights, I could only handle the thing for 20 minutes. I was exhausted cuz I was sick. By the end of the week - 4 fabulous days of non-training - I drove less than 2 hours behind the wheel. They said adios to me and a bunch of others.

You still have to pay for the trip, housing, physical, school. It's a total scam. I'm contacting the attorney general to get the rest of my money back.

Sorry, if I was misinformed but I talked with drivers there and they said they had a 1 year comittment. So I thought this was an across the board situation for drivers who get their CDL with them. I never heard of a 8 month contract with them. But they may have one...

CRST does have in there info. packet that they do have the 8 month contract fullfillment and if they really don't, then that will be a discrepency in there info. packet. I have already called about there 20/10 deal and that is when I found out they no longer have that at this time. HHMMMM?!?!?!?!?. So, I wonder if they really do still have the 8 month contract fullfillment.

I was at Prime as a student in August for the Orientation. I recommend their training program because you pay a $100 fee to start, they include a free room, three meals a day, and the food was good, and help with getting the CDL permit if needed. That Friday I got my Comdata card with $200 for meals while on the road. After I complained about an issue I had with the first driving trainer I was assigned to another the next day. Unfortunately the second trainer thought he could treat the training like a boot camp, so I decided to leave after two days. I do not learn well under heavy stress, but I did learn a lot in those two days on the road. Prime allows you to leave up to seven days from the day you go out on the road with no obligation to repay for the training. I do recommend their program, just hope you get a more accommodating trainer than I had. The pay scale for students is the best I have seen.
