You can add 10 or 20 years to your life with job satisfaction.
You don't have to be gone from home for long periods of time if you get your endorsements such as tanker/hazmat.
You can make real good money & benefits with a tanker endorsement. Many tanker companies have dedicated accounts where your home regularly or nightly. Two that you can research are Prime & Schneider. Check about what they have near where you plan to relocate.
Where are you going to move to? There are 9 states with no personal income tax; keep more of your paycheck.

RickG : The reports I don't disagree with, but all those issues are preventable. Truckers life span is average 61 years if they are suicidal and don't use common sense. A few simple adjustments to their lifestyle and diet & they live as long as anyone else an average of 77 years. Dying at 61 vs. 77 is a personal choice, barring something out of the ordinary or genetics. You and I are still hanging in there!

Well , it says the average is 61 so according to your statement the average truck driver is suicidal and lacks common sense .
