I would suggest KLLM or JBS Carriers. USX is great company to team providing you have a team. USX is dry and KLLM is reefer.

not true, they have not gotten an "auto-shift" or "automated" transmission in almost two years,

their is no "automatic" transmission in a class 8 truck sold to the public.

Yes there is my friend. I drove an ex Trans Am with an Ultrashift. Their is an autoshift and a ultrashift. Both shift automatically and have a feature that lets you shift manually. USX received 2010 Volvos and their 387's for l/o's that were 2011 models were that way.

1st its auto-shift,(early model eaton) ultrashift (newer model eaton) or freedomline (meritor) and all of them ARE NOT an automatic transmission...

2nd 10 2010 volvo's don't count and yes it was ONLY 10, i was at tunnel hill the day they came in and that was OVER two years ago (volvo did a deal with usx on the 10 trying to get usx to start ording them again) didn't work.

3rd yes they did get 2011 pete's in with automated transmission (early 2011's) so yes that was as i said almost 2 years ago......

why did usx stop getting automated transmission...? because they had a bad batch of ultrashift transmissions (dm3) that had BAD "CLUTCHES"

Automated: same thing as CVT found in cars with manual mode available. The Volvos do count as USX received them and as far as I know still have them in service.

Automated is not automatic unless you want to also call a super 10 an automatic.

i never said the usx didn't have Automated transmissions

    you said
    and that is not true
