Newbie Trucker with questions.

    You will need to suck it up, pay your dues and put in a min of 6months to a year.
    After that, as long as you stay clean - you will have tons of options.
    Your speeding ticket within 3 years might limit you with some companies but I dont think its a show stopper.

    By the way - for comparison...
    My son went to IRAQ for 8 months. He has a newborn and is a newlywed.
    He can't just pull over and call home each day or night like we can out here...
    They didn't see each other for over 8 full months....it was tough.

    So with all things considered, if you REALLY want to be a trucker - this is the life style your family has to support you in.
