Newbie wanting to get into the LTL game

    They do train them, it's basically a dock position, and when they don't need you on the dock you'll go out with a trainer. Usually somebody that's already there either part-time dock, or full-time dock takes the position but, they still have to post it.

    Wow, yeah that does sound like a long-shot in getting a CDL in the near future. Sounded good though!

    I haven't seen anybody off the street get hired strictly for the "apprentice" program, it's normally, like I said, somebody that already works there, that has an excellent work record, that has an interest in driving, then they post the "apprentice" thing for them.
