    Ahhh...

I must have misunderstood the part of your OP where you stated

    .

I applaude you trying to get a head start and learn all you can before you go to school.

There is an Ohio CDL book?

Are you talking about the one issued by the BMV?

hardest thing for me was hazmat but its even not that bad

the best advice i can give to somebody about to go thru school is the advice a driver gave to me before i started

go to the DMV and take the CDL permit tests and pass them before you even think about going to school...you will be ahead of the class and wont have to worry about passing written tests along with driving tests....all you will need to learn is how to drive the #### truck

The hardest thing for me was log books. I'm still trying to pratice it because I was so used to Werners paperless log but now that I'm going to another company I have to figure it out b4 I go.

:evil3::smt096 They'll be a lot of stuff to absorb in a short period. Plan on absorbing it back at the room after dinner. Discuss it with other students. Don't try to party every night. Concentrate on passing your classes. Come to this forum and ask questions. You can do it. Your future depends on it. We're counting on you!

Actually the hardest thing for me was memorizing all of the items on the pre trip inspection. I don't recall but i think there are over 140 items to remember, but not just those items, also all the things your supposed to be looking 4 that might cause the truck to be put out of service.

But my memory is so bad i would forget where i put my head, if it weren't for my neck.

My doctor told me its the diesel exhaust. He told me it makes a certain member of the male anatomy a lot larger and also does something to your memory. But i forgot what he said.

im not very good at math so the hardest thing for me now is when finishing a log counting up the number of hours in each duty status....it usually takes me 3 tries to get them to come out to 24

Exactly...just because little Timmy got an "A" in arithmetic in first grade, doesn't make him qualified to be a CEO, or CFO of some big company...so why do these schools and mills accept just the absolute basics to get the little card in your wallet? PROFIT of course! No after the fact responsibility to the individual or the motoring public...just PROFIT!
