but it brings up a subject that needs to be addressed..your obsession with higher and even higher Per Cent mileage pay...as AVG miles of a trip/driver goes down most ALL companies INCREASE mileage pay....hence the higher pay mileage rate of LTL drivers that you Quote...

Now if your $1 a mile Insurance man is driving 150,000-200,000 miles a year as a good OTR driver can legally do(and good ones do 3-4k miles a week)then i am impressed, but i doubt it..
oh,and now would be a good time to mention(tell the truth)that the $1 a mile is for cost of HIS car,His fuel,and HIS insurance and plates...comeon now..not all of us on this board are simple minded as you seem to think you are talking to.

 

i talk to my uncle regularly, plumbing isnt my thing it doesnt interest me at all. he seems to think i'm making the right moves. my father passed when i was 8, actually he took his life. he is a huge part of the drive i have inside me to never quit because my mother never quit either. i cannot believe i posted that on this forum either what the hell am i thinking.

 

I give you another opportunity. to explain..this adds up to more than it pays?

thanks brother it means a lot that this forum and drivers will be behind me as i journey through the trucking industry from local to OTR and so forth, and that i can share some really personally stuff. sorry to hear about your dad and your brother i hope those responsible were brought to justice.
