There's LOTS of "info on things" here... all you need to do is read what interests you. Then if you have any specific questions, do a search first, and if you can't find what you're looking for, then ask. Many topics have already been covered, ad nauseam. Welcome.

There is allot of great info all throughout this site, but I will tell you what I took.
Cell phone and charger, I had 2 different trainers and they had an extra phone mount for me, and the trucks have more than one outlet.
5 days of clothes (do not take to much) in a soft side duffel helps, your trainer should (hopefully) clear you a shelf or two for your items. (my trainers cleared 2 shelves and half the closet) I took a sleeping bag while in training. Then when I got my own truck, regular bedding was fine.
Shaving/toiletries.
a small thing of laundry detergent, and change for a Laundromat.
Wintertime, a heavy coat and gloves, you will more than likely be throwing chains.
Extra boots for cold weather.
I took my laptop, but rarely got on it while I was training.
I took a hard enclosed clipboard for my logbooks and pens. Even if the company you are working for has elogs, they may have you fill out logs anyway. Werner did.
The big thing to take with you and KEEP is a positive attitude, I can guarantee you and your trainer will get on each others nerves more than once. -
Oh yeah, eating money, My trainers gave me space in their coolers, but that is limited as well.

Take an oversize sleeping bag and one pillow; no sheets or blanket.

An extra pair of glasses, if you wear glasses, plus, always have a way home. Visualize this, your trainer throws you off his truck 1500 mi from nowhere with $6 in your pocket. Not a good feeling.
