Newby Needs Advice on Company/Division

Epes will hire you out of Atlanta. They run a southeast regional op out of there or you can go otr. You'll do better than 500/wk there. I did mid 40's first year and home almost every weekend. They're a little picky though if you have any dings in your background you may not make the cut but worth it to be here if you can get in. 2 1/2 years in now I'm doing mid 50's

at any rate you need to get with it if you're already 4 months out if school and not driving yet. Your window is closing as far as getting hired before you have to go back to school and do it again.

 

Tell your buddy that drives for Averitt to check Big-M Transportation. Trucks as nice as TMC and they might cut some slack on the 6 mos. experience required.

Tell him Navajo has been running an ad for a dedicated night run from Atlanta to Jackson, TN that pays $150.00 a day and home every day.

JBS Carriers is a good refrigerated company.

He can do better though with a good flatbed or tanker company.
