I have my class A hazmat, tanker, double triple endorsements. Went OTR for a short time with Carolina Cargo and Western Express. Yeah... Decided OTR is not for me right now. I would really like to utilize my tanker endorsement but I know fuel haulers need a couple of years OTR. Is there a chance any dry bulk or liquid bulk local companies would hire me to drive? Hell I would even drive a dump truck at this point. I will call around just wondering if anyone has any advice for me. Don't really want to bump any more docks. Thanks

    Try Careerbuilder website.
Maybe a cement company will hire you. Some haul dry bulk cement and flyash in tankers.

Make some good money with Superior Carriers.

Well, without a solid driving record with a single company it's going to be an uphill battle.

Bumping docks is part of the job, sorry to say.

Don't assume tanker companies won't consider you with such little experience. I worked for a gas hauler in TX and they hired inexperienced drivers all the time. You've got to start somewhere. Stop asking people here and go apply to the companies that are in that area. You just never know.
    good luck.

Yes its really case by case... you will have to pound the pavement and actually go to the local companies and talk with them. Be prepared to wow them the best you can. Cause with only 4 months and 2 companies in such a short time. it will be a hard sell but not impossible ...Best of luck to you.
