    I don't have a/c in my bunk.

The vent motor works properly, both a/c lines are hot, fan works, cab a/c works.
I'm guessing my bunk expansion valve is plugged.

Truck is a '04 379 if it matters at all.
Nothing but cooling problems today....reefer and bunk :(

Are both a/c lines at the bunk expansion valve hot? If they are the expansion valve would be stuck open.

It's the expansion valve. Hot means a restriction.

Petes have one filter under the passenger dash for the cab and one under the bunk. They get plugged up and don't cool well.

What does the AC switch in the bunk control panel do? It doesn't turn off the fan. I'm wondering if I lost a connection to it. The light is working in the switch. Is there on/off switch for the bunk freon?

Just popped the hood and noticed every metal line is covered in ice. It's going to need some work :(

It's low on refrigerant or has a lack of airflow through the evaporator/s. Lack of air flow could be a bad fan motor/s, dirty filter/s or dirty evaporator/s.

If all the lines have ice on them I would say it is overcharged with freon.

Usually when the system is overcharged, the clutch on the A/C compressor is disengaged, therefore no refrigerant is being pressurized through the system.

I dunno, maybe the air conditioning system on a 2004 Pete is totally different from the one on a 2010 cascadia.

Besides, the op stated the AC works in the cab, just not the sleeper. Overcharged system would cause no AC in both the sleeper and the cab.

Is the switch in the cab that says bunk a/c turned on? Sleeper a/c won't work if it isn't.
