thats weird--about the first sergents and lt colnels---every driver i meet ,no matter who they drove for is a x-navy seal---and most of them served in nam---and most of them are only about 30 years old
the only way they could have served been in nam is swinging in their daddys balls
but to each his own i guess
this week i will be an astronaut who drives on the side -
My point is Werner and other companies as well feed off of veterans, suckering them into actually using their GI Bill to train for a year at Werner? are you freaking kidding me?
and yet there are plenty of vets who will sign on the dotted line.ronin Thanks this. -
In very hot weather I drink a ton of water., At times I add salt tabs or id tabs like we did in the services. In most normal conditions I drink about a gal in 24hrs. I do not drink pop or any sugar filled drinks that stuff will kill you slowly. I may have a cup of coffie decaf on sunday thats it. drink water it`s good for you.
ronin Thanks this. -
Let's not assume that because I drink over a gallon of water a day, I leave pee jugs behind. I empty them, rinse them out, and dispose of them.
Also, if you look at the pee jugs at the side of the road, you'll see how yellow they are. That means the person who left it IS NOT drinking loads of water. Someone like myself who drinks a ton of water has pee that is barely yellow. And that's how your pee should be.ronin and capital 48 Thank this. -
i totally agree with you ---they are truly low life scum for treating ex service like that---can you imagine being in charge of an abhrams and its crew---then going to werner and being treated like an village idiot
sorry but i couldnt take itronin Thanks this. -

With the sergeants and colonels their issue is much bigger than getting sucked by these predatory driver mills. The real issue without making this the political forum is that the government isn't adequately taken care of these veterans and these trucking outfits are capitalizing on their needs. Think about if you're pressed to pay a mortgage or college tuition and need consistent income then you make rash decisions you otherwise wouldn't make. Also the industry as a whole has the perception that 6 months out of semi and you're a stupid as a 2yr old and need to go to these outfits to gain acceptance again. How many of us have had to go through a refresher or start the bottom again whether military or not. Just something to think about....
