    yeah a driver recruiting company wants me to pay 500 dollar for a refresher course looks like thats what i am going to do because i can't get anything otr oh i drove for coca cola local for about 7 months nobody respect driving for coke either if i would have knew that never would have took the job

    I'm about to pay $2800. for a 80 hour refresher with sage to get back into trucking.

    Stranger my dad owned a truck like the one in your avatar. Trucks sure have come a long way!

    They sure have. That truck had no A/C, P/S, very little heat, no air ride seat or suspension. No stereo. It was very loud inside, and with 40,000 lbs on it would run 53 MPH wide open along I-12 in La.

    All that and it got 4.1 MPG. Yes, the good old days.

    Hey, 4.1 isn't too bad. My '91 Freightliner didn't do that well. About 3.5, loaded or empty.

    It started out at 3.7, then I got into the pump, which gave a little more power and better fuel mileage.
