Are there companies out there where the driver does none of the air/pump unloads?? I sometimes see trucks that have no compressor on back nor do they have any hoses & they are pulling a liquid tanker. So I'm thinking there are companies like that? Must be nice? Lol

Some chemical hauling is setup like that as they don't want any contamination issues.

Yeah, those are milk tankers I believe. Those are not used for dairy farm pickup because there's no pump, so I'm thinking maybe plant to plant loads like cream, condensed milk, etc. OP if you want to sit around a lot and do nothing, chilling at receivers all day, hauling cream might be your cup of tea. 3 hours to unload and wash out.

I haven't touched a hose in a couple of years running dedicated trailers for a couple of customers. Its not a company thing but an account thing.

Bynum Transport does the 100% no touch deal. I have had the chance to talk with a few of their drivers and they love it.

In all my years in trucking it basically comes down to this. The less you have to do the less you get paid. Milk doesn't pump/air, but the party is less and as lot of waiting time.
