I got Freightliner Century 2007 Detroit, my cruise control and engine brake are not working, I replaced clutch switch and speed sensor from the other truck that doesn't have any problem with these things and it didn't work. My cruise control is working only when idling , also-when idling nothing happens when i press clutch or brake pedal, rpms go down only when i release parking brake.

Check brake pedal switch and/or accelerator pedal position switch.

The accelerator pedal position sensor should be on the pedal, not too sure about the brake pedal.

Also check that the clutch pedal return spring is not broken, when it's broken, your clutch pedal doesn't go back up all the way, so it will keep the cruise control from working.

Problem solved . I feel embarrassed to say what it was . Clutch switch jack that connects with the cable which is going from computer was disconnected.

    At least it's fixed.

There's no need to feel embarrassed, sometimes if you don't ask a question, you won't get the answers and the motivation to look for or fix the problem.

90 percent of drivers would have had it in the shop, spending a week’s pay to fix that. You did just fine.
