I seriously am thinking about it.
    And.
Joining the company that is getting the most laughs and IMO inappropriate comments comparing drivers to "homeless people, war vets with PTSD and the mentally ill."
Just 'cause I am real p*ssed now.
    Oh an'
    Oh forget it.
I need to just calm down.
But. Although I am no angel,
    pffft
I know that beauty is found on the inside
Not to judge a book by it's cover
    an'

    Good lord calm down lol.

Go to the school, enjoy it and learn. Go run a truck and have fun. You're gonna have bad days and good days.

I ##### and complain on here constantly, but I love runnin truck. Its all a huge game, so learn to play it and you'll do alright.

Lay off the drama a little bit. They are just mad we make more them.

We are all mentally ill in our own ways.

    First...

Don't let your fear stop you from doing anything. Only way to conquer fear is to do the thing your scared of...face it head on, look that son of a ##### in the eye as you give him the bird

Second... You say you have nobody. You got a whole forum, filled with all kind of advice, experiences, drivers of many different types. Some been doing this for decades, some have been doing it for a day or three. Their all a resource to you. Look at the majority of the replies here. Their also not afraid to answer questions or lend a hand when folks ask.

Third...Your going to need a thick skin when it comes to this kind of work. If you can't handle people on a forum making fun of a company or being idiots with comments...your going to need to fix that. Same thing with posts. Don't let them get to you. Don't like the post or tone? Don't give them the satisfaction of seeing you get pissed off by making angry posts. That's what they want. So don't let them win. They can only get your goat if you let them.

All that said...I'm sure your community college will train you just fine. Read many of the threads here about people going to companies an not getting properly trained or yakked all day to about leasing despite never driven a truck before? If not...do so. I think you'll see the C. College is the better choice.

I wish you luck in your career, like others said...stop over thinking it. Make like Nike an just do it. ;)

Do your thing an don't worry about what others say or do. Just focus on the important things...you and doing your job to the best of your ability. Be like a duck, let the comments on vets, disabilities, etc roll off your back like water. Otherwise you'll be doing nothing but beat your head against a wall.

Yeah. Thick skin. Like Carrie Fisher. And a sense of humor like her to.
