No experience, new CDL but on parole. Who will hire me?

Even if you get a yard jockeying job while you're on parole it will help you with backing. Apply to all the jobs you can in Texas. Be encouraged you will get to where you need to go, you've come this far. Stay the course. All the best to you on your journey

 

I doubt a staffing agency would hire a driver with no verifiable experience.

 

Sometimes they do. One lady at Trillium told a guy, "You're the first driver we've ever hired right out of CDL school."
You're right though, most want 1 yr. experience.

 

I'll put it this way.......If I hire Trillium to find me a temp driver, and they send a driver with ZERO EXPERIENCE, I fire Trillium.

 

That's not the way it works. I worked for a temp agency one time.
The trucking company tells the temp agency which qualifications the driver must have, then the temp agency finds a driver that meets those qualifications.

 

I've heard that story before China , your next call on the list.
If i worked as slow as some in the HR relm id be going backwards , a friend of mine thinks theres some kind of Cult they all belong to.
I creep around on LinkedIn before i interview most of em came from Mcds Popeyes as managers.
