There is a generic form that figures out your daily net average for just this. I got it a few years ago from somebody on here but can't find it now.

Any lawyer the insurance company pays for to defend "you" their first order is to save the company money.
My lost time was compensated.
52 weeks previous income. They paid me average weekly income for the days my truck was down.
I was also paid for the load I had at the time of the incident. Depends on your policy.
Call your agent. He should help you with paperwork.
I would at least consult with an attorney.
Actually I would hire an attorney to help with paperwork and whatever else might come up.

First you gotta ride the storm out. Then prove to the other party insurance what he cost you. Then decide what you will settle for. Then wait for the check to be mailed. Nothing fast about it
