No ground antenna on cascadia?

    Get a unch of braided straps or make your own...
    Look up the term bonding..
    Keep in mind that todays trucks are all put together with glues,alum bolts and plastic pins..Not alot of welding ect,hence the bonding..

    Actually the problem with today's trucks and mobile antennas is RF ground, Craig mentions a way to solve it. Here is a great link to help answer questions about mobile antenna bonding.

    Bonding

    The no ground plane antenna (NPG) uses the coax to help with lack of RF ground. It works but not very good as far as antenna performance goes. But I guess it's better than nothing.

    How to make your own lugs(for bonding use braided strap,1" wide..
