    I keep looking at Belarus. Very poor economic country but still nice. Dollar goes far. Even the current turmoil there has been more peaceful than our problems here.

    I want a place I can just be that weird foreign guy that just wants to relax. I prefer a house with a little land than a resort apartment.I don't what to stick out unless I open my mouth and the accent comes out.
    I think America is going to suffer through a Socialist faze either this coming year or within the next decade. Many of the Slavic countries have already been through this and are going more conservative minded. That sounds like a nice place to live out one's life.

    Have someone help you buy a home though. Unless you already know someone there you can trust, then get a real estate lawyer in the states to give some guidance.
    My wife took care of all that for us because she's a Chinese citizen with an MBA and already knew the procedures.
    Maybe @daf105paccar or another driver that already owns a home there can give some tips. Friend of mine is retiring soon and moving to Philippines. His wife lives there now. They've been married a few years now. He met her on blossoms.com.
