Neither do Chinese. one reason is:
    Rape of Nanjing
The massacre occurred over a period of six weeks starting on December 13, 1937, the day that the Japanese captured Nanjing. During this period, soldiers of the Imperial Japanese Army murdered disarmed combatants and Chinese civilians numbering an estimated 40,000 to over 300,000, and perpetrated widespread rape and looting.

I have read that one of the reasons Japan surrendered to America after the A-bomb is not just from fear of another bomb but the fear of what their other enemies would do to them and the emperor.
America helped rebuild Japan back to a world power.

Funny for a such a colonialist nation we sure do suck at it.

    Not a military power.
For the Japanese culture, that was the biggest change ever.

And in return Japan has been a friend off the USA.
(The USA also learned the lesson from the Versaille threaty )

Basicly a win win for both.

Sounds like you are starting from scratch? Not a bad thing I hope? We are a family style Refrigerated Carrier. We have had a people in your exact situation and brought them into our family of leased operators. I myself stepped away and returned to what I know and enjoy. A couple things I see when people get back in it is they have the confidence but lack the feel of being back in a top heavy truck. Following distance is too short, etc. But this comes back quickly. The laws have changed so the data entry do’s and dont’s and planning your daily routines might be your toughest challenge. If you hit a snag or need some help send me a message. Hopefully you will get that perfect tanker job. But if you don’t, we’ll need to fill 5 more custom built WS 5700’s by the time you’re ready. Good luck!!! Dave.

    Thanks.
I'll definitely be starting from close to scratch. I drove in the SF Bar Area and the tailgating, quick lane changes and reckless driving was a big no-no. Especially in a tanker. Cops would get you quick. I've kept my good habits fortunately. I found that when I drove the key was to be efficient and not lollygag.

The new regulations and getting used to OTR, scaling, chaining, sliding axles ect. Things I'm confident I can learn on my own but wouldn't mind being shown.

Main goal ofcourse is working myself back up to a career worthy job I can stay with for about a decade and be done.
