Pulled in for fuel, shut the truck off, went to restart and nothing. No lights no fans, cig lighter, and no starter. This happened before and started several minutes later after removing battery cables and checking for corrosion. Have since then replaced starter, key switch, and relay on firewall. Truck is 2003 vnl610 with n-14. I'm stumped.

Just answered my own question. Ground cable broke off at the starter. As is typical with Volvo no slack at all in cables to make quick repair.

We have a guy that has a truck like that with an N-14 that absolutely loves to break the wires going to the starter. You can put new ends on them. Strap em. Do whatever you want to do with them and he still has them break it seems. He was in the shop Friday with a broke ground and a broke hot that went to his cab just like yours. I put a new end on it and connected it and strapped everything back up. I hope that is the end of that but I doubt it.

Roadservice replaced cable end at starter. Got lights, fans, etc., engine turns over but no start. Get code mid 125 not responding.
