Hey guys, got a '99 Pete 379 that doesn't have a marker interrupt switch on the dash. All it has is the headlight switch on the center panel and a clips switch to the right of it.
Anybody know how to wire one in or even just modify either or both of the switch's wiring so that the clips switch interrupts all the marker lights instead of just the top clearance lights? Thanks for any and all help.
No marker interrupt switch 99 Pete 379

That switch is an option on a ptb. You could go to the boneyard and just get both switches. Side cutter the wires and then you and then you do not have to figure it out.

The headlight switch and the interrupt switch are separate. Go to the boneyard remove both switches. Cut the wiring going to the switches I would leave it long. The interrupt switch probably just has leads going to the main switch. You should only have to connect the wires on the main switch to your truck or just add the int. switch to your truck and match the wires.

I guess I'm still confused on what needs to be done to add in a marker interrupt switch that would turn off everything except the headlights with the push of a momentary push-button switch, I just don't know how to wire it.
As it is right now, the headlight switch works all the marker/tail lights and the "clips" switch only controls just the cab lights, nothing else, except on an older bellydump that I sometimes pull. On my 2 year old end dump, the clip switch does nothing to the lights. On the much older bellydump, the clips switch actually interrupts everything except the center tail lights.
