1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

i know the economy is bad,but i sure didn't expect the "slow down" season to be this bad. I pull a flatbed and i'm off all Thanksgiving week because supposedly there is no freight. Meanwhile the leinholders on my car still want their money....lol...imagine that!!!! :biggrin_2551:

I ran my first run this week and asked for another, Went back to the Mill, and there was only ONE loaded trailer. Just for me, So I signed for it and then found out that my delivery date was changed to Monday because the place I was taking it to had no place to put the paper. So, Short week here also,

Yep I hear ya! I went home on Saturday 'cuz I knew we would not have frieght to get me home and I was only 75 miles from my house. So here I sit.. but I would rather be here at the house than sitting in a truck stop for the holiday! So Happy Turkey Day to You all!!!:biggrin_25517:

Parked my authority and flat. leased on to Schneider. Never thought I would see that one coming. They have freight, and it is paying better overall than what little work I could scrounge with the skate board. Van freight over here is paying around $2 a mile.

    Whoda thunk?
