Word over here at the Holstein travel plaza fuel desk is that someone parked at the fuel island with his truck already on fire and the stiff wind blew it right into the building .

Did Pilot/FlyingJ just close the deal to buy the place? You know they seem to catch fire when it's time to remodel.

Caseys at Early (Hwy 20 and now Hwy 471, was the old Hwy 71) is now the choice if you need fuel or the bathroom. They have truck pumps, easy in/out. Parking for about 10 trucks behind the fuel pumps. Fuel isn't as pricy as Holstein, bathrooms are clean. No mobs of teenagers hanging out either.
I hated that Sparkys. Only stopped there for #1 diesel when it got real cold.
Their fuel pumps were set up such that if you wanted #1 in both tanks, you had to go around again to hit the other side because they didn't have one fuel lane with #1 on both sides. That and having to go in and prepay twice.
I won't prepay for fuel unless its really cold and its the only place I can find #1 for 100 miles.Pamela1990 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
