I apologize! Apparently you read my post before I had second thoughts and deleted it. My post was not meant to be judgmental (in retrospect, there was no other way it could sound, which is why I deleted it.)

Where I was "coming from" is from the grief I feel for two good friends and two separate families who each lost a young child, each because of "choices" they made. You are right that what your child has is irrelevant (to this thread) and is YOUR choice. It is also irrelevant what other children and families in your area do or did. It is what you think is right for your child and your family that is important. I would not appreciate anyone telling me how to raise my child (but I might secretly listen if the argument had merit). I pray you never have to regret your choices.

Again, I apologize! It was not my place to say anything, but that does not change my concern and well wishes for you and yours!

Don't believe it. If you have a flat screen, u can use an antenae.
I use one at home, and mine is inside. and its a cheap one.

Why are you bumping a 6 year old thread? Also your flat screen needs to have an ATSC tuner which my smaller tv don't have built in. Then again they were always designed to be monitors for consoles more then stand alone TVs.

even antannaes aren't reliable. a real PITA to try and get signal.

sure miss the old days, when signal was analog. and all channels could be watched anywhere in the country, without interference.
