Thanks guys everything went all right last night nobody bothered me. And everybody else parked did it for the night too.
Yeah I've only been driving 6 months but that's been my only ticket in Richmond county (I think, close to Columbia) SC. Passing in the far left third lane. Learned my lesson. $100 ticket as of May 2019, correct.
No overnight parking/2 hour rest limit signs at rest areas

I feel like most places shove it saying no overnight parking but your never bothered. There is a place near me a little gas station with truck parking. Sign says no overnight parking but I have been leaving my truck there during hometime when I was with Werner and Shaffer. I was told they just don't want trucks clogging up the place

Thats a bit much.
Pretty soon Officer Slow will be over my shoulder approving my typing../.. /snark... -
To be honest I have always ignored these signs and took my chances. I was always in a legal spot and was never bothered. You should be good driver.

what I do when they tried to play the real chalk game back in day many would is that just set alarm clock. sure that Virginia all the time one guy used to get so poed..
it was the tiny one on 81 right outside of where the Lancer truck stop is.
I would set my alarm and I would see it chal Mark there cuz he used to play that game that Virginia state trooper and I would roll over the chalk mark and I would go back to bed...
just before two hours later when I seen him come by I would back up again a few inches..lol
so there was no way he could have got me for 2 hours.
did my sleep suck because of it yeah but this was the 90s.
popping everything in sight and hammer down as fast as you can..
