Did it work even tho it wasn’t receiving power to tue solenoid? Mine has power to some other temperature solenoid not sure what that is but no power to the solenoid when I turn my switch on?

I just changed ecm that was flashing code 25 which means all good but also bad power supply or ground and at certain moment didn't want to start anymore. I'm having 1995 Fld Detroit 12.7 with ddec 3. Instead of getting another ddec3 I decided to get ddec 4 reprogramed to work on my truck. Today I installed ddec4 and truck didn't want to start. I changed fuse plug at power cable with plug ring that I assume was bad and also I changed ring plug for the ground (there are two wire for ecm ground, why 2?) after that I tryed again and after little cranking, engine started! But fan was on. After builed up the air and warm the engine I tryed with my fan clutch switch to try on and off witch usually was giving some kind of sound before, now nothing. Is it ddec4 ecm that was not properly programmed or I should search for the ground of the fan clutch?
