    Kinda looks like something that is used on a levelling valve adjustment rod .. This is a Shot in the dark lol

    Those are Heim joints and may be used in several places. They are commonly used on clutch linkage, throttle linkage (older trucks), leveling valves, some wiper linkages, and the ends of struts that let hoods down gently.

    @roshea got it. Unfortunately for me, they are for the clutch linkage.

    When i had to replace them on my previous truck my arms were just barely able to reach in there and do the work. On the surface it is a quick and simple job, but sometimes things are not as easy as they appear. In the Freightliner Century's those joints on the clutch linkage are the cause of a terrible rattle and replacing them is pretty cheap, just aggravating to do it.

    I tried force,it didn't work. Tried using heat, same result. KW dealer didn't have a new rod in stock, so I had to get creative.... Careful application of an angle grinder did the trick. 20200225_094943.jpg
