In Wisconsin in our retail store we were required by law to provide a public restroom
Not sure what the law is for private warehousesAnother Canadian driver and okiedokie Thank this. -
Pee between the tires??????? You can bet that if a customer wasn't respectful enough to provide a "clean restroom", I'd be out strolling the customers property, "marking-my-territory" as I went.Another Canadian driver, MartinFromBC and jethro712 Thank this.

I don't think I'd go that far, but I would drop the trailer and leavelet them load it at their leisure. If they wouldn't allow that, then I'd tell them to unload whatever was on the trailer... see ya... buh-bye.
I will not stay at a shipper that loads product off the line if they don't have a restroom available. Pee in a bottle... sure... but it's kinda hard to take a dump in a pop bottle.hauler881 and panhandlepat Thank this. -
That's what a 5 gallon bucket and a plastic shopping bag are for. And when done feel free to dispose of in dumpster of said yayhoo's who won't provide a place to take care of your driver's logs.
MartinFromBC, alds, homeskillet and 1 other person Thank this. -
I prefer the term "blessing the ground" or "marking my territory", it does get rough especially after a lunch break at the Taco Bell from the T/A just before arriving to start the wait!

ya dont think?
then explain all the #### graffiti on CUSTOMERS bathroom walls.
explain the sign i saw awhile back saying something to the effect of.
"if there is anymore graffiti/defacing of our restroom, drivers WILL NOT be allowed to use it in the future" -
I think drivers are targeted because of the "residue" left behind in parking areas -- be it the strong odor of urine or the bottles and trash that remain when a truck departs.
What the folks that manage these stops are missing is that the drivers who pee in the lots and/or toss their trash probably don't even bother to use the restrooms. So I tend to agree that most of the mess in restrooms isn't the result of drivers' use, but of disrespectful four-wheelers and even some of their own employees as well. -
During orientation the VP in charge of training at my company told the class if we ever had a customer refuse to provide us with a bathroom to call him. Said we will not haul or deliver to places that don't. I have yet to have a problem.

I am on a one-man-mission to stop that nasty habit of drivers peeing in the lot/at the fuel islands. Be forewarned, I am carrying a camera and looking for the perfect pee photo to have blown up and put on the back of my trailer.
When I do get it, the caption will read:
And you wonder why they don't want you parking in their lot?
Yes... I am dead serious.truckerdave1970, hotrod1653, Eskimo6804 and 4 others Thank this.
