Not sure if this notice was supposed to be a joke or not, but the guy said I could use it.

You know it's really the trucking companies that are supposed to have a place for their employees to relieve themselves. Airplanes have restrooms onboard, trains have restrooms right inside the operators area(engineer) and so do boats ( even small commercial types), only truckers are treated like sub-humans by their employers. If you treated a dog as badly as truckers are treated you would be fined or jailed for animal cruelty. Yes they can build OTR trucks with small facilities inside them just as mini RV's do.

The companies are most likely not doing this without having already put up with years of drivers coming in and making a mess of the place, not cleaning up after themselves and being plain stupid.

We seem to be doing this to ourselves as many have posted the payback to the company for being mis-treated, further propagating the stereotypes of the scums of the earth that so many already think we are.

Maybe instead of proving we are what they think we are we should set the example and prove them wrong, police ourselves and educate the slime balls within before we can educate the public about the goodness of the majority.

It has taken me 20 years to finally follow a lifetime dream to drive truck because of the public perception of OTR truckers, if we don't make the changes within, we will never be accepted and treated as humans, we will continue to be "picked on" and we will forever be treated as second class citizens.

    Shep Shiloh Thanks this.

Must have a place for a driver to used the restroom, as well as to get something to eat. You must be new to trucking.

Never thought about that - but you have to admit - Planes, trains and boats can not pull over on the side of the road or pull into a rest area or C-store . . .

You know, they could put it under the bunk. Tilt the bunk and take a crap. If you're a team, the curtain will protecvt your privacy. Also, put one in the seat with an automatic bidet. That way you dont have to stop to use it. It can all go into a tank like an RV. More restareas could have dump facilities. Or, you can just drive over a grated bridge and open it while a tour boat is going under like a certain tour bus did a while back! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
