Even the police cannot force you to break HOS. A state trooper or federal agent can sign off on you moving the vehicle, but not a local officer or deputy. Unless the laws have changed since I have been out.

    1. Running out of hours is no excuse to trespass. You can get arrested if you refuse to leave (in most jurisdictions anyway). After all there is always the option to ride in the passenger seat of a heavy haul tow truck.
    2. You can use personal conveyance if directed to move by a safety official.

#2 under a trailer or with a load? I thought you had to be empty/bobtail and not in route to pick up a load for PC. I am not being difficult, honestly asking as I have been out a while.

Yea, PC guidance changed a few years ago.
Most notably is loaded/unloaded doesn't matter and one can leave receiver if no parking and go to closest safe location.

If an officer or anyone the is considered a saftey personal ask you to leave property you can use PC to do so. You cannot however drive past the first safe location to park.

We got a call a spade a spade here, yeah I’d like to urinate and dump in a regular official toilet as much as humanly possible but there’s times it just isn’t happening. This is one of those things that everyone likes to deny but I feel like everyone does, and that is they figured out a way to take care of business when there’s no other option inside the truck. I mean the old saying, “when you gotta go you gotta go“ comes to mind here. I personally don’t think it’s a big deal to urinate in a bottle if you’re careful.
