No trailer break, pulling the knob does not engage the break!

    Can anyone help plz......
    When I pull the red knob my trailer breaks do not engage......any suggestions?

    Can you hook to a different trailer and test that one? Then you can tell if its tractor or trailer problem. I would start there.

    Unless your pulling an antique, trailer brakes are spring loaded and locked when air is dumped (pulling the red knob). The red and blue air lines connected to the trailer are the Emergency and Service air lines respectively, disconnect the red one (glad hand), the trailer brakes should lock unless some shenanigans are going on then re-post.
