    I am trying to find out the decibel level on these rigs in the cab when loaded on the hway...
    1980-85 Kenwoth T800 dump
    1980-85 Kenworth 900 tractor
    2008-2012 Kenworth T660 tractor
    2008-2012 Cascadia tractor

    The KW I think is a little louder than the casicaida, which is at 68 db as measured for the heck of it on a test drive. The older trucks do not have any sound deadening material or designed to be quiet.

    honestly if the truck is loud rip it all apart and add sound deadner. secondskin or dynamat although dynamat is pricy, for the floor you could use peel and seal from home depot. it would reduce road noise and keep heat or air in and nothing can or get out meaning cooler in the summer warmer in the winter etc etc. here is an example
