Hello truckers,
I am listening some noise from both sides while driving truck more then 30-35mph. When i open my right mirror I listen whistle kind of noise same when I open the left mirror and it is not a TURBO noise m pretty sure.Do I have to worry about that problem, I am listening it from last 10,000 miles. Remember I only listen the noise when I speed up my truck. My thinking is saying that air is going into some hole and making the noise or I think some axle problem I don't know. Please help me out m getting some negative vibes now because that noise is not going no where and its getting little bit scary.
Thank you,
BADLA TRUCKLINES INC.
Noise on the truck, I cannot pin point where it's coming from?

Is it a whistling noise? Likely a boost leak
-
Yeah its kinda same noise as the turbo noise like the sound is same, if its coming from turbo i should check hoses connected to turbo?
-
Yes. Look for pinholes, loose clamps, etc. What truck and engine?

Engine issue is more than possible. But any chance you have mirrors similar to these Velvac?
They have replaceable glass. Put 2 rounds of electrical tape on the seam to the body. These whistle like a mofo.
Don't be bothered by my artistic skill.
spsauerland and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Not sure what you mean by ‘open the mirror’?
Val_Caldera Thanks this. -
Mine whistles loud, it goes away when adjusted. There’s a drainage hole at the bottom of mine that causes the whistle.jamespmack Thanks this.

Leave Left Mirror Closed & turn the Radio Up..

My passenger side mirror whistles too.

Black electrical tape on seam. Should come included with Velvac mirrors.
