noise when windshield wipers on

    when my wipers come on I hear noise thru my external speaker . Galaxey 959, k40 mic ,k 40 magnet antenna .please help :dontknow:

    Where are you getting your power source? Try another circuit, or get an inline filter, available at most cb shops.

    the power is coming from the factory wires over head but not using the factory coax.the truck has A cut out spot for a cb

    I would put an inline filter between the radio and the power. Sounds like my old '07 Columbia. The filter helped a lot.

    I never had much luck with those in-line noise filter gizmo's...If you get one and find it don't work... try running a ground strap off the windshield wiper motor to the frame or firewall...You may also try running a ground strap from the external speakers mounting blots to the frame or firewall if you have it mounted to plastic.
