Yup I been 400 off to 1000 off. Dot do have some lenient on it. When I pulled container I been 500 over crossing the scale.

I had a few bad cat scale and drove to the next truck stop and scale again.

I often load beans in Lucern, CO and they have a platform scale and allow us to axle out on it before we finalize the paperwork. Just pull your steers onto the platform and honk! :)

The Petro in Fargo, QuikTrip, and many independent truck stops are the only ones I found that don't have CAT-branded scales. But QuikTrip claims they will back you in court as well.

ALL CAT Scales get checked every 90 days (4 times a yr) and their maintenance program is 2nd to none. As for the guarantee, it real and they back it every time. if you have questions or concerns about a CAT Scale simply call them 877 228 7225 x6 and see for yourself. Their headquarters is in Iowa and answer the phones 24 hrs a day! Can't say that about ANY other scale or scale co.

Thanks for the heads up. I heard somwehere that CAT actually makes the scales for QuikTrip. Don't know if it's true or not.
