Any suggestions? This is where the C.O.I. will name the rental company as the insured. Progressive does not do it.
Presuming you have a scheduled power unit, you could try National Indemnity. They would do it......but again it would only be available on an existing policy with liability & phys dam on a scheduled unit.....or as new business with the same scheduled power unit issue. No one I know of would do a standalone H&NO liability and APD with no scheduled unit.
I have progressive and they wont write it. I dont get it- so im covered for 120k physical damage on a unit on our policy. If i go rent a tractor from paclease or penske im not covered??
There SHOULD be coverage for you for liability, IF the unit you are renting is a "temporary replacement" as defined in the policy. If so, then yes, but if the rental is to add a unit to your fleet then no.
