Way to go man, I am glad to here you are on your way. Sorry to hear the trip was rough and loud. Let me know how the training goes.
-
Yeah relaxing sounds good. I am not sure about the stores, I will see tomorrow. They would have to be real close because I don't have a car or anything here.
Thanks man, I will keep this thread updated every night I am sure. -
I am actually going to a school not far from you. My classes are Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm.I just started class last Monday. I was going to go to Millis for my cdl but unfortuantely they denied me. So I am going to an independent school. If you need any help on anything let me know. Although I am originally from good ole' Indy, I have had 2 years to navigate this state. The training school I am going to is about 20 minutes from Millis. Good luck and stay positive, it will seem tough and feel like you're all alone in this but know you will be on your way to a dream come true. If you ever want to talk you can pm me. Take care.indianaEMT Thanks this.

First night went well in the hotel. I woke up hungry and realized I have no transportation yet and have nothing to eat here. So pizza hut is bringing me a pizza. Kinda excited to meet my roommate today, not sure what time he is getting in though.

I am in room 128 stop by and say hi when you get in. -
First day on the books, a lot of paperwork done today. Tomorrow is all about log books, and Chicken Wednesday we are going to get our first chance at driving the trucks. I can't wait. I am glad I choose the "best not the rest" lol

Second and third day done, Things are going great, we drove the millis 500 today and I think I did really good at shifting. It was a little rough the first few laps then it started to click. I can now upshift and down shift though the gears with not to much grinding. I'm far from perfect but I think I did great for my first time ever shifting a 13 speed.

Lol yeah just wait until you get out with your trainer in a 10 speed and have to learn it all over again.
