North by NorthEast by Choice - the saga of sadwar continues

Awoke at midnight, drove the 3 minutes to get my load that was supposed to be ready 10 hours earlier and yep, you guessed it, still not ready.... After much debate the shipper pulled someone off another load and had them put the last four pallets on the trailer, which only took them another hour to do.... Wow.... Then after driving two hours I did a drop and hook for that same load at a grocery warehouse that thought it was Fort Knox....ID, picture, fingerprint, tractor and trailer numbers and plate numbers, body cavity search, x-rays... It was unreal, 45 minute ordeal... You'd think they were guarding national secrets and not distributing cantaloupes and such.... Will stay away from that load from now on.... After that it was an hour to my next drop and hook and then six hours to the same Peelot I was at yesterday morning, where the Volvo got run over... And the Volvo is still here waiting to get fixed..... Tons of damage to the front... Lights, bumper, hood, fender.... Nice driver, feel sorry for the guy...

Spectacular day today... Two loads delivered and almost to the pick up for the next one.... One day revenue of $1128.09, my best yet.... If my last remaining load goes as planned I will do $5722.41 in revenue in six days... If I can squeeze in the load I have booked for Tuesday delivery and deliver it on Monday (will depend on my hours I have left on Monday), I'll do $6234.46.... Either way I am happy..... Love my job...

Should see around $2700 to me.....
