I know IP said you can make more running otr 48, but I like the idea of being some what by the house. Whos running ne, what kinda miles/pay etc, and anyone training over this way?

I think you got a lot more opportunities to run thru Columbus if you are 48.
I get thru Columbus quite a bit. Both delivering, picking up and dropping off. NE is the NE not much "passing thru" Columbus. Columbus is on the edge of the region. -
From what I gather, you'll make more money running 48-OTR. The runs are shorter up there, so you'll get less miles... which is partially compensated for by the NE 5-cpm pay. The opportunity is there to stay overnight at home if you have the time and location to be able to do that, but as Chuck pointed out Columbus OH isn't exactly anywhere near Boston for instance. That "opportunity" is considered to be part of the NE Regional "compensation."
We do plenty of business in the Columbus area... you'll do fine in terms of hometime just running 48-OTR. -
Copy that, shouldnt be a problem to rescind my offer to run ne should it?
