I can't lie, when i see the 'nose in' crowd at TS i automatically think laziness.
Granted everyone has their reasons, but honestly, it takes roughly 2 minutes at the most from when you hit the flashers to when you pop the brakes.
I've nosed in a couple times but it just didn't feel right backing out.
I guess a number of people would rather nose in because they know good and well they'll spend 20 minutes backing in and never get out and look lol..

    Too each his own.

I once nosed in because I couldn't wait two minutes to back in...I was already about to crap my pants.

However, I did turn around after relieving myself. :)

Now 4 the serious part after u have fought w/the safety departments of a couple 3 MEGA carriers about how my bumper and fender could possibly cost 3-4k to replace and paint properly AFTER U have already had the work done and paid for it--U Might start looking at some of us who now nose in and gain a little understandin--just sayin

I usually back in then sit in my drivers seat and listen to the radio until I have two trucks beside me to make sure no one hits me. I nosed in once and just can't do it. I pulled back out and backed in. It's just not for me

Sometimes a man is worn out after 14 hours of working and he may not have the best judgement after a long day. And so he noses in just to play it safe. If that's lazy... Oh well. What did he hit?

    Haha definitely.

I guess after 14 hours of work, an extra 5 minutes spent on assessing the situation would be out of the question..

After a long day of driving I've had problems backing but I dang sure ain't about to nose in. It just don't feel right and to me it looks terrible. I'll admit I'm all about looks when it comes to certain things. Ill spend an extra 5 minutes backing than to spend 20 seconds nosing in.

    Yes

    It's pronounced Freerksen.

    You're welcome.

But if you nose in, don't you have to back up to get out? :biggrin_25523:
